Step-by-Step Instructions
Preparing
Step 1
Place the butter and dark chocolate in a bowl and melt them either in the microwave or using a double boiler. Once melted, let the mixture cool in the fridge for 5–10 minutes.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the cooled chocolate and butter mixture with all the other ingredients (order doesn't matter). Mix everything together using a hand mixer, beater, or by hand (if you’re strong enough) until the mixture becomes smooth and homogeneous. With a good mixer, this should take no more than 5 minutes.
Baking
- Divide the mixture into 10 equal portions and shape each one into a ball.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. If you don’t have any, grease and flour the pan well to prevent sticking.
- Bake at 180°C for exactly 10 minutes (8 minutes for softer cookies, 12 minutes for firmer ones).
- Remove the tray from the oven and let the cookies rest at room temperature for 10 minutes. This step is very important.
